I’m working on a new book, tentatively titled “Becca Pierce.” It’s science fiction, set in 2147 in the world not too long after my short story, “Mumans.”
The Earth has been hit by Chicx II (after Chicxulub, the meteor that wiped out dinosaurs 66 million years ago.) and is recovering with the use of Mumans, manufactured humans.
Becca Pierce is an undercover cop trying to stop a fanatic who hates Mumans and the Littleton Corportation who created them. Unfortunately, things go sideways. She’s been raped and then almost gunned down by something completely unrelated to her original mission.
The book is about half finished at 56K. Hope to finish it, at least a draft, in the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for it.
Meanwhile, here’s the tentative cover.
My long awaited novel, Avenging Angel, will be available on Amazon in print and for Kindle on Wednesday, February 17, 2016!
“Her husband is missing. Two police officers arrive at her door. Her world collapses. Sara Sutherlin’s life changes in ways she can’t possibly imagine.
An Avenging Angel rises from the ashes.”
Here’s the cover for my new Scepter of the Nile book, The Ankh. It’s another amazing cover by Aidana WillowRaven. Find her at: http://bit.ly/1s8ygJS
Th book will be available in a few days from Kindle. Look for it.
The Ankh takes place just a few weeks after the conclusion of The Scepter of the Nile.
A silver box sits on the table in front of Tomyris Currington. Opening it, she finds it empty which is not possible. When it was sealed, two thousand years ago, an Ankh was inside. She is the only person who could open it. Since it sat there empty, it was obvious someone other than her removed it. But who? What happened to the Ankh?
The Goddess Sekhmet issues a terrible threat. The Ankh must be returned to her. If not, people will die…horribly. How will this affect the tough decisions that have to be made? Why are Tomyris Currington and Sophia Al-Haran no longer together?
The adventure begins in North Texas, moves to Wales, then to London and Paris, Milan and finally, Tel Aviv, before the answers are found back in North Texas. Lives will be lost, relationships will be pulled apart and one will stand in judgment.
Will the Ankh be found before Sekhmet acts on her threats? The answers are in The Scepter of the Nile, TheAnkh.

Just received the edits on book 1 of the Scepter of the Nile series. Now I get to make changes or edit as my editor thinks. Hopefully the cover and my rewrites will be done at the same time so I can get this book up on Kindle!
I found this ‘side character’ intriguing, as it were, when I read the first two books in the “Flowering” series by Sarah Daltry. (http://amzn.to/HDz1oZ) With Sarah’s permission, I wrote the “Interview With Mayor Alana Reardon,” which is my take on where she ends up later in life. I’ve taken some pretty broad liberties with this character and tried not to go too far afield from where Sarah sees her. Alana has her own upcoming novel from Sara Daltry. Look for it.

@jandalize on Twitter gave me the idea for the Sundress at the first of October. Several readers contacted me and suggested I write from a man’s point of view. So I did. Here it is: The Sundress – What He Saw.

I just “improved” this story with a bit of editing. I’ve been asked for a sequel and I’ll deliver at some point. I have to figure out where I want these two people to go.
